This will mark the culmination of a year’s work by screenwriters who will present their projects to more than 200 leading cinema industry experts. Each script was created with the support of a professional editorial team, which provided a high level of elaboration and depth of study. This is not just a presentation, yet an opportunity for graduates to leave their marks in the professional community and take a significant step toward implementing their ideas.
The «AUTHOR» NPO implements two key social industry programs aimed at developing human resources of screenwriters, as institution potential in cinematography: «AUTHOR» and «Path to Cinema».
The «AUTHOR» screenwriter support program has been running since 2022. It’s goal is to expand the creative workforce and improve industry competencies and screenwriting skills. Participation in the program provides an opportunity to dedicate one year to write a film or TV series script with comprehensive support from the «AUTHOR» NPO, which includes:
- Monthly financial support of 150,000 rubles for one year of involvement in the program.
- Compensation for the screenwriter’s expenses related to additional education in dramaturgy and screenwriting.
- Participation in major industry events and the chance to become part of the professional community.
- Editorial, informational, and legal support for program participants.
The rights to the script remain with the author. However, the script may be transferred only to a Russian film organization. The result of participation is a completed script aimed at a wide audience and designed for priority theatrical release.
