This film focuses on the experiences of one such family and its members: Mahmoud, the father; Fatma, the mother, and their son Azad. As they survive and dream of a completely different life and how they conflict with each other.

Anvar Hassanpour: "This is a very private story, my brother and I come from a similar family to the family of our characters, and we live in the Kurdish part, which is full of pain, suffering and coping, but people there are extremely resilient and strong-willed. Our goal was to show universal stories, that's why we do not have a main character in our film, but we have many families who live and survive and even find a way out".

Emeer Hassanpour: "After we watched many films about how people live in Kurdistan villages, we decided to tell a story about a living in a mega-city, fitting into a home-work-home scheme. Considering that we perfectly understand that a few years ago many families migrated from villages burnt down to cities to earn a living. We felt we needed to tell about such ordinary people whose stories are important for the whole Kurdistan".
